Ismael Franco is the manager for all of Costa Custodio.  He can make suggestions about points of interest to visit, set you up with kayaks to explore the estuary, arrange to go fishing off the reef with Diego in his panga, translate any special requests you might have and tell you about the local area.  He speaks fluent English from his many years living and studying in the United States.


Vicki Robles is your cook with an irrepressibly personality.  She is happy to cater to specific requests and will handle the shopping, preparation and clean up.  She prepares two meals a day, breakfast and dinner, six days a week.  Generally meals are laid out in the kitchen and served buffet style.  Vicki leaves for home at 4:00pm so guests usually reheat the evening meal to dine on their own schedule.  If the giant shrimp are in season (check with Ismael) she makes a garlic marinade the will leave you euphoric.

On Sunday the staff takes the day off.  Fortunately dinner is just a short walk away on the beach at Platanitos.  Included in the Meal Plan is a dinner of grilled fresh fish cooked in the famous local style at El Delfin Restaurant.  Start with empenadas and relax to the sights and sounds of the local scene.
